Quorum
Quorum is the minimum number of players a game needs to go ahead.
When the game reaches that number for the first time, it has hit quorum — the game is on, and it will be played.
Hitting quorum matters in three ways:
- The game is now committed. It’s going to happen.
- For online-paid games, everyone in the game is locked in, and any clashing same-day bookings drop off. See Same-Day Booking.
- Leaving from this point on can cost you your fee. See Leaving a Game.
If a game hasn’t hit quorum by the time it enters the last hour, Furbol cancels it — unless the host chose game on, no matter what, which keeps the game alive regardless of numbers.
