Venue-listed Games

Some of the games you’ll see on Furbol weren’t created by another player — they were pre-listed by the venue. If a pitch is connected to an external booking system, its available time slots can show up on Furbol automatically as games you can join.

Where this happens today

Today, venue-listed games exist for pitches in Argentina (Buenos Aires metro area), through a connection with the external booking platform that covers those clubs. If you’re in other cities, you won’t see venue-listed games yet — every game near you was created by a person.

How to recognise one

From the app, a venue-listed game looks like any other game: name, venue, time, roster, fee, facilities. The things that are typically true of them:

  • Cash game, Argentine pesos. You pay the venue directly, in cash, on the day.
  • Fixed roster. The minimum and maximum are the same — a 5-a-side slot is exactly 10 players, a 7-a-side is exactly 14, and so on. There’s no “stretch to fit extra players” room.
  • Two teams.
  • No anonymous joins. Everyone who takes a spot is visible on the lineup.
  • Facilities come from the venue. Indoor/outdoor, astro turf, showers, bar, parking — these are read off the venue’s own data, not typed in by a host.
  • Goalies pay the same fee as outfield players. See Goalkeeper Fees.

You won’t see a badge saying “pre-listed” in the current app — from the roster view there’s no visual distinction.

Joining and leaving

Joining, leaving, hitting quorum, confirming, the last hour, roll call, rating — all of it works the same as any other cash game. See Joining a Game and Leaving a Game.

What makes them different

The venue’s own availability drives them. If the venue’s booking system later shows the slot as no longer available (because it got booked through a different channel, or taken off the schedule), Furbol cancels the corresponding game. You’ll see the normal cancellation behavior and, if you were in it, the normal notifications.

You can’t host at that exact slot yourself. As long as the slot exists on the venue side, it lives on Furbol as a pre-listed game — you don’t have to create a duplicate.
