Confirm
Confirming is the act of committing to a specific game for the day. It’s stronger than saying “I’ll be there” — it’s saying “this is the game I’m playing today, and if it turns into game on, no matter what, I’m sticking with it.”
That commitment is what makes confirmations useful for everyone else in the game. Once enough players have confirmed, the roster is real — no one is double-booked elsewhere, and the host knows who’s actually coming.
Who can confirm you
- You. Tap confirm on the game page.
- The host of the game.
- Whoever booked you in. If a friend booked a spot for you as their follower or guest, that friend can confirm you too.
What confirmation triggers
Confirming has real consequences for the rest of your day:
- You’re locked in. Furbol drops you from any other games you’d saved for the same day at a clashing time — regardless of whether they’re free, cash, or online-paid. See Same-Day Booking.
- Leaving gets more expensive. Once you’ve confirmed, leaving an online-paid game carries a cost. See Leaving a Game.
- You’re part of the game-on decision. If the host flips the game to game on, no matter what, everyone confirmed is expected to play.
A special case: last-hour bookings
If you save a spot during the last hour before kick-off, Furbol treats that as confirming. At that point you’re clearly committing — there’s no room to pull out without consequence.
