Guest
A guest is a player on the roster who doesn’t have a Furbol account. A friend, a colleague, a visiting cousin — someone you want to bring along without asking them to sign up.
Because they’re not on Furbol, guests don’t:
- Get notifications.
- Confirm their own attendance.
- Unbook themselves.
- Pay through a wallet.
All of that is handled by you, the person who booked them. Furbol records you as their recruiter — any fee, any confirmation, any removal flows through your account.
Guests and the pay method
If the game is paid online, the guest’s fee comes from your wallet, not theirs. (They don’t have one.) Cash and free games work as usual — cash is collected at the pitch, free is free.
Guests and the trial
Booking a guest doesn’t use up one of your trial games. The trial counts your own bookings, not the ones you make for someone else.
Prereg contacts — a named kind of guest
You can save known non-Furbol contacts as pre-registered profiles. They work like guests on the pitch, but appear on the roster with their name and handle rather than a generic “guest” label. If they later sign up for Furbol, their history with you can be carried over to their real account.
