Delete your Furbol account

You can permanently delete your Furbol account, and all personal data tied to it, at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what to do if you no longer have access to the app.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way and the one we recommend.

1. Open the Furbol app and sign in.
2. Go to Edit account.
3. Tap Delete.
4. Confirm when prompted. Deletion is irreversible — there is no 30-day grace period, no soft-delete, no way to recover the account afterward.

Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app — for example, you lost your phone, uninstalled Furbol, or can't sign in — write to privacy@furbol.app from the email or phone number tied to your account. Include the phone number you registered with so we can locate the account.

We'll confirm your identity, delete the account, and reply to confirm within 30 days (usually within a few business days).

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, Furbol removes:

• Your profile — phone number, nickname, photo, settings.
• Your activity — every game you've booked, hosted, confirmed, rated, or left; every message you've sent or received; every reaction; every top-up and cash-out on your wallet.
• Your followers and contacts — the list of people you follow and the list of synced phone contacts, if you ever granted contact access.
• Your technical data — the short history of sign-in events and device identifiers kept for fraud prevention.

What may be retained

A small amount of data may be retained for the minimum time required by law or to resolve disputes already in progress:

• Payment records linked to transactions you've made — not the card details themselves (those live only with Stripe, our payment processor) but the minimum transaction metadata tax and accounting law require us to keep.
• Records of abuse or legal investigations already open at the time of deletion.

All of this is held under UK / EU data-protection law and cannot be used for any other purpose.

What happens to games and messages

Games you hosted and messages you sent are part of other users' histories. When your account is deleted, your identifying information is removed from those records — your name and profile photo are replaced with "former user" — but the rest of the record remains visible to the other people who were part of it. That's how Furbol preserves the integrity of everyone else's activity log.

After deletion

Your phone number is released after deletion. If you ever want to use Furbol again, you can sign up fresh with the same number — you'll start from a blank account with no history.
