About Furbol

Furbol is how you find a football game to play. Someone near you is putting one together right now — Furbol gets you a spot in it. Or, if you feel like it, lets you run the game yourself.

Who Furbol is for

People who want to play football and don't want to coordinate a group chat to do it. Casual players looking for a regular fix. Hosts who want their games to fill up cleanly. Pickup crews tired of negotiating who's in and who flaked this time.

How it pays for itself

Furbol doesn't take a cut from hosts. It doesn't sell your data. It doesn't run ads. It charges players a 6-month pass — roughly the price of two Big Macs — after the first five free games. If you don't play in six months, the pass is refunded.

This is the whole business model. It's deliberately simple: the only people who pay Furbol are the people Furbol is trying to be useful to.

What Furbol isn't

Where this goes

Furbol is football first. The rules, the roll call, the quorum, the last-hour cut — everything is designed around the reality of getting enough people on a pitch at the same time. It may stretch to other sports later; it won't stretch to anything that breaks the "never sell users out" constraint.
